Ammer-Amper cycle path

The water-rich route through the Bavarian Alpine foothills begins at the Ammer springs near Oberammergau.
Along the Ammer, Ammersee and Amper lakes, you ride comfortably to Moosburg an der Isar.
Due to the many sights, the trip of about 200 kilometers can be easily completed in four to five days.

Depending on the direction of travel, the Ammer-Amper cycle path presents itself as a pleasurable river tour that promises leisurely mountain biking at the beginning or has moderate climbs towards the end.

In the Bavarian Alpine foothills, many sights and a varied landscape can be explored on two wheels. Culture and customs can be experienced up close in the cities or in our traditional beer gardens by the water.

In our bike service booklet you will find, for example, information on tourist information, bike repair facilities and e-bike charging stations along the Ammer-Amper cycle path. Of course, a description of the route should not be missing.

Bike packages

Carefree cycling is possible with pre-booked accommodation - with or without luggage transport. The booking is made directly through our partner "Feuer und Eis Touristik".
